01The kerb
Wheelie bin hire Adelaide, down the side gateDown the side gate, on your own driveway, no council permit.
Local and independent in Adelaide metro since 2020. GST, delivery and collection are in the price. Seven days on site, and you can stretch it further.

Real bins, on real Adelaide driveways
02The price
That is the whole price list. GST, delivery and collection are inside those two figures, so the number you read is the number you pay. Nothing is added on the day and nothing is added at pickup.
A single run means a finite number of stops in a day. When a day is full it is full, so the earlier you pick your date the more likely you are to get it.

03The side gate
A wheelie bin rolls through narrow side first, so the only number that matters is the clear width of your opening. Type it in and the drawings redraw to your gate at the same scale as the bins. And on your own driveway there is no council permit to apply for, which is not true of a skip on the street.
820mm takes the 660L down the side. The 1100L goes on the driveway.
Goes through
The 660L needs 780mm of clear opening. Your gate is 820mm. Room to roll it down the side and put it where you want it.
Measure post to post at the narrowest point, and take off anything that sticks into the gap: a latch, a hinge or a downpipe.
Will not go through
The 1100L needs 1070mm of clear opening. Your gate is 820mm. It goes on the driveway, the carport or out the front instead, wherever the truck can reach.
Out the front costs you nothing. It is the same bin, the same seven days and the same figure, and the truck reaches it faster on the day.
If it is close, put the measurement in the placement notes when you book and the driver will sort it out on the day.
04Wheelie or skip
Six honest rows. One of them says book a skip instead, because on some jobs that is simply the right answer and pretending otherwise wastes a morning for both of us.

Skip bin. Worse here.Craned or tipped onto the driveway, and it stays there
Wheelie bin. Better here.None on your own driveway or lawn, because it is your property

Wheelie bin. Better here.Four castors, moves by hand, lifts off cleanly
Skip bin. Worse here.Sits on the concrete under load for the whole hire
Wheelie bin. Worse here.We do not take them. Heavy fill is the wrong job for a wheelie bin
Skip bin. Better here. This is what a skip is built for. Book a skip, it is the right tool
Wheelie bin. Better here.Waist height with a lid, so it stays dry and the wind stays out of it
Skip bin. Worse here.Lift everything over the side, open to the weather
Wheelie bin. Better here.$129 or $179, GST, delivery and collection already inside the figure
Skip bin. Worse here.Quoted before delivery, permit and tipping fees on top
If your load is bricks, concrete, soil or rubble, ring a skip company. If it is a house, a garage, an office fit-out or a garden, a wheelie bin gets down the side and gets out of your way faster.
Book a wheelie bin05The run
Independent since 2020, and the person who takes the booking is the person who drives the truck. That is why the bins turn up when they are supposed to, and it is also the limit: a day holds a finite number of stops, and when it is full it is full.
Deliveries and collections run Monday to Friday, usually next business day. You pick your date when you book, so the earlier you choose it the more likely you are to get it.

06The event bins
Weddings, festivals, sporting days, school fetes and corporate functions. A 240L is the bin the public will actually use: it is waist height, it has a lid, and a row of them along a marquee line keeps a site tidy without a skip parked in the middle of it.
The rate moves with the number of bins, the site and how long the day runs, which is why it is "from" rather than a flat figure. Tell us the date, the place and the headcount and you get the number before you commit to anything.
07Before you book
The full hire docket is above. Both bin figures are for seven days and already include GST, delivery and collection. Nothing is added on the day and nothing is added at pickup.
A bin rolls through narrow side first. A 660L needs 780mm of clear opening, which a standard side gate gives you. A 1100L needs 1070mm, which a standard side gate does not. Measure post to post at the narrowest point and use the gauge on this page.
Not on your own driveway, carport or lawn, because it is your property. A skip placed on the road or the nature strip usually does need one, which is a separate cost and a wait.
Adelaide metro. Salisbury and Elizabeth in the north, Marion, Hove and Seacliff in the south, the coast from Henley Beach to Outer Harbor, and east to Magill and Tea Tree Gully. If you are not sure, check your suburb before you book.
Usually next business day. You pick the delivery date when you book. Deliveries and pickups run Monday to Friday only, no weekends and no public holidays.
Yes, out to 30 days. Extra days are $5 per bin per day. Easiest to add them when you book, but you can message part way through and we will extend it.
No bricks, concrete, soil, rubble, tyres, paint, batteries, gas bottles or liquids. Heavy fill is a skip job and a skip company will do it better. Everything else from a house, a garden, a garage or an office fit-out is fine.
