Adelaide Wheelie Bins Will Be Closed For Christmas From December 20th 2024 until January 6th 2025
TERMS OF SERVICE
Conditions of hire:
● For your safety please keep wheels locked when stationary
● No asbestos, oil, paint, batteries or gas bottles
● Our service is provided for light general and/or green waste
● Paper and cardboard only hire means PAPER AND CARDBOARD ONLY no plastics
● 660L and 1100L wheelie bin max weight is 250kg
● 240L and 360L wheelie bin max weight is 60kg
● Overweight charges are: $11 per 10kg
● Wheelie bins must be mobile upon collection
● Bin lid must be able to close and rubbish must be below the rim
No dirt, concrete, brick or pavers
Extra charges may be applied if these terms of service are not followed
Adelaide Wheelie Bins will not be held liable for any damage to property by our bins while stored on hire
BINS MUST NOT LEAVE YOUR PREMISES
IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF HIRE
Deliberate damage will incur a replacement fee up to $500
WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN YOUR BIN
Light General Waste
General waste can contain most light household or commercial waste. This is basically any waste except for concrete, bricks, roof tiles, aggregates, sand or soil. General waste may also contain green waste as long as it is not heavy. Heavy tree trunks or Cocos palm trunks are likely to cause weight limits to be exceeded and should not be included
WHAT YOU CAN'T PUT IN YOUR BIN
Heavy General Waste
Heavy waste usually contains hard and heavier materials such as plasterboard, concrete (including reinforced), bricks tiles, sand, soil, rock, aggregates, gravel, stone, treated timber, tree trunks etc that are Non-Putrescible (i.e. do not contain rotting substances).
The main difference between Heavy and Light waste is that Heavy General Waste contains heavy materials like bricks, masonry, concrete, sand, soil, aggregates(rock), glass, wet and heavy timber (palm and tree trunks/stumps, railway sleepers etc).
General Light waste contains anything but liquids, heavy and hazardous materials. This may include, cardboard, paper, timber (pine or similar), household items, furnishings, furniture, white-goods, clothes, toys, bikes etc.
Asbestos - Incorrectly disposing of asbestos may lead to criminal prosecution. The hirer is liable for any asbestos found in any of our bins. The disposal costs of asbestos is the liability of the hirer, and may run into the thousands.
Monthly Hire Terms
Your bin will be picked up and exchanged monthly within 3 days either side of your initial delivery date in the following months
You will be notified 24 hours prior to your bin being exchanged
Please have your bin prepared and in an easy to access location
Failed Delivery attempts will result in a $40 fee being added per failed delivery
End of hire collection fee $40 applies for all hires 2 months or less
Extra emptying fee is $60 per exchange (660 litre) - maximum of 1 extra exchange per month
$80 per exchange (1100 litre) - maximum of 1 extra exchange per month
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL PRIOR TO EVERY DELIVERY/EXHANGE
BY ACCEPTING THIS BIN YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE WILL RESULT IN EXTRA FEES AND/OR CANCELLATION OF HIRE
