Most Riverlea bookings come from people doing a kitchen reno cleanout, a garden tidy before sale, or an end-of-lease clear-out. The 660L covers the average household job. Bigger renos and builder sites go 1100L. If it's just a boot-load of stuff and a bit of yard waste, the 360L is enough.
We're a small Adelaide operation. Owner-run since 2020, metro only. The booking, the delivery, the pickup, the billing. It's all the same handful of people. If something needs sorting out, you're not stuck in a call centre menu.
Quick rule of thumb for Riverlea: a 660L handles the average reno cleanout. Kitchen demo, bathroom strip, garage sort-through. Stripping a whole house, doing a builder job, or clearing a deceased estate? Go 1100L. Just a garden tidy, a small shed clean-out, or pre-move declutter? 360L is enough. A 660L is roughly three trailer loads; a 1100L is closer to five. If you're between sizes, size up. Moving up costs less than running out of space halfway through.
The bins all roll on castors and fit through a standard side gate (the 1100L is the only one to measure for. It's about a metre wide). If you're not sure what fits where, ring or message before booking and we'll work it out.
Riverlea sits in postcode 5120. We deliver Monday to Friday. Book before noon and you'll usually get it next business day, sometimes same day if the run has space. No weekend or public holiday drops. You don't need to be home: leave placement notes when you book (driveway, side of house, behind the gate) and the driver follows them. Bin must sit on private property. Driveway, lawn, hardstand. Not on the verge or the road. Council can fine bins left on the kerb.
Seven days included from the day we drop, then $5 per bin per day if you need to keep it. Up to 30 days total. Prices are all in: 360L is $99, 660L is $129, 1100L is $179, GST included, no separate delivery or pickup charge. Pay online when you book. We take general household and light commercial waste, garden waste, and clean reno material. What we don't take: asbestos, liquid paint, oil, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, hot ash, or anything classed hazardous. That needs a specialist disposal route, not a wheelie bin. We started Adelaide Wheelie Bins in 2020 to give people a sensible alternative to skip bins for the kind of jobs that don't actually need a six-tonne skip on the front lawn. A wheelie bin rolls. It fits through a gate. You can wheel it next to the back deck while you're working, then push it back out for pickup. For a single-weekend reno or a yard tidy in Riverlea, that's usually the right tool.
Pricing is dead simple. 360L is $99, 660L is $129, 1100L is $179. All inclusive. GST, delivery, pickup, seven days hire. No extras tacked on at the end. If you need to keep the bin longer, it's $5 per bin per day after day seven, capped at 30 days total. Pay online when you book.
Riverlea (5120) is on our standard Adelaide metro run. Most orders placed before noon go out the next business day. We're Monday to Friday only. No weekend or public holiday drops. One thing worth knowing: heavy material (bricks, concrete, tiles, soil) is dense. The weight limit on a 660L is about 150kg and on a 1100L roughly the same. That sounds like a lot until you fill half a bin with broken pavers. Rule of thumb. Keep heavy stuff spread across the floor of the bin, and stop loading it once the lid won't close flat. If we can't lift it, we can't take it.
If you're running an event, doing a high-rise office clear, or managing a building site in Riverlea, we also do event bin hire, construction waste, and high-rise office bins as separate products. Same operation, same metro coverage, just a different booking flow. Existing customers on regular service can talk to us about ongoing arrangements directly. The public booking flow is set up for short-term hire.
